Audit Assistant

Working Location: Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in ensuring that all the principal risks of the company and its subsidiaries are identified, assessed, monitored, and controlled
  • To assist the auditor in new report writing and preparation of follow up audit reports
    To assist in the preparation of audit programs and procedures to conduct audit assignments as directed by the Internal Audit Executive and Head of Internal Audit
  • To highlight areas of particular concern, weaknesses, or improvements and recommends for further actions to address the issues identified

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients and deliver high-quality audit and assurance services, including preparing and reviewing audit plans and work
  • Lead, manage and develop an effective audit team
  • Liaise with client’s representatives in the planning and conduct of audit assignments
    Maintain a good working relationship with the clients and identify ways to maximize the relationship with clients
  • Plan and scope assignments effectively, allocate audit resources, define deadlines, and ensuring comprehensive and appropriate terms of reference is set for each assignment

Tax Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle tax compliance and computation works for corporate tax, preparation, and submission of tax computations and tax returns
  • Assist in handling tax-related matters issues/queries for corporate income tax and assists clients on tax issues, tax audit, correspondence with LHDN

Tax Senior

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and review the audited accounts from a tax viewpoint
  • Prepare tax computation based on provisions of the Income Tax Act 1967 for companies, partnership, sole-proprietors and individuals
  • Assisting in tax audit and tax investigation assignments and prepare the Income Tax Forms and other relevant documents
  • Attend to correspondence from Inland Revenue Board

Tax Manager

Working Location: Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure activities in taxation is aligned with the control objective and deviations highlighted for consequence actions
  • Observe and plan to maximize the company’s tax advantages via effective and efficient tax planning
  • Advice on taxation related matters such as withholding tax, permanent establishment, transfer, pricing, goods and services to various stakeholders
  • Identifies strengths and weaknesses of stakeholders in order to provide a solution for business growth
  • Implement continues harmonization and standardization within the group
  • Liaise with transfer pricing consultant to ensure contemporaneous transfer pricing documentation is prepared and available each year of assessment as per transfer pricing guidelines and gazette order
  • Review GST-03 return to ensure it is in accordance with GST Act, GST guidelines and regulations and submission is within the stipulated timeline (i.e. before the end of each subsequent month)
  • Provide tax advice for projects related matters and liaise with the tax consultant on any consultation required (e.g. application of tax regulations, reporting & compliance with local authorities, eligibility of tax incentives
  • Liaise with respective stakeholders to gather information required for tax incentive application
  • Review 3 years provision for tax and deferred tax calculation for operational planning purposes (i.e. effective tax rate, tax trend, and analysis)

 

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accountancy or related in the field
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in a related field
  • Preferably Manager specialized in Finance – Audit/Taxation or equivalent

  • To manage a portfolio of corporate insolvency assignments in accordance with our company’s standard procedures and relevant compliance with relevant statutory obligation and to confirm an arrangement with client, company, or appointer
  • To communicate any problems in complying with those instructions or any contentious issues identified to the company’s partner
  • To liaise with the creditors and other interested parties throughout the assignment
  • To be able to lead and supervise Corporate Insolvency engagement covering Liquidation, Receivership, Corporate Rescue Mechanism, Scheme of Arrangement, Debt Restructuring and Monitoring Accountant

Job Responsibilities

  • Draft or review all Agreements of whatsoever nature which are to be entered into by the Company or its subsidiaries or associate companies
  • To provide legal opinions and advice on all matters law-related and applicable to the operations to the Company or associate companies including but not limited to mergers and acquisitions, investment transactions, entry of registered charges on property, restructuring exercise, labor matters, and others
  • To liaise with professional advisors or external legal counsels for any matters related to the Company

Job Responsibilities:

  • Researches and answers Property Managers’ questions regarding tenant statements
  • Reviews and approves work such as tenant credit memos, non-recurring tenant billings, and questionable cash receipts for entry by Accounting Clerks
  • Prepares security deposit refund invoices and delivers to the Accounts Payable department
  • Prepares tenant account analysis and reconciliations when tenants dispute charges to their accounts

Security Officer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the day to day security duties are duly performed towards protection of the company, tenants and shoppers’ properties against theft, robbery, damage, illegal entry and other hazards
  • Maintain and promote the company corporate image as frontline troopers
  • Attend to customers, visitors and tenants enquiries at duty post areas and render assistance if so required
  • Institute immediate action on any security violations and respond swiftly to any emergency or abnormal situations or criminal activities within the complex
  • Enforce the company’s polices, security as well as in house rules and ensure no violation among the tenants, staff and shoppers
  • Enforce the fire and safety regulations and measures and ensure strict compliance at all times
  • Carry out security checks on vendors, contractors, promoters, tenants and co-workers and ensure that their activities inside the complex are in compliance with the company’s rules and regulations
  • Monitor and check on vehicles entering and leaving the complex as well as assist in traffic controls as and when necessary
  • Assist in the administrative duties of the Operations Department such as data key-in, incident report preparation, etc.
    Render support in all other projects initiated by the Operations Department
    Perform any other duties, which may be assigned by the superior from time to time

 

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least secondary school qualification (STPM/SPM)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably in retail industry
  • Possess sound security and safety knowledge and have a proven track record in security enforcement
